Olive Matters conducts a comprehensive range of workshops, seminars & on-site instruction for both growers & consumers on the production & appreciation of Premium (extra virgin) olive oil. While the olive tree is one of the most flexible, hardy & forgiving of horticultural species it requires skilled preparation & management to produce healthy fruit in commercially viable quantities. Precise & considered agricultural practice is the key to a successful, vigorous grove, one which is capable of producing a genuine Premium (extra virgin) olive oil of the quality & character appreciated & sought by today's discerning consumers. Training for growers
These courses can be conducted as general seminars for
regional producer associations or as on-site training for specific
olive industry employees. Or they can be tailored to the particular
needs of an organization or olive project. Various tours relating not only to the olive industry, but also to the foods and wines of the central Italian regions, are held throughout the year to groups of determined size and tailored to their specific requirements. We also offer a range of presentations on Premium (extra virgin) olive oil and its use with food for consumers, producers & those who work in the restaurant industry. |
