Quality, flavour & character in Premium (extra virgin) olive oil begin in a well-planned & managed olive grove & continue through every production, packaging & distribution stage to the consumer's table.


Therefore, a strategy which links all those stages is essential to the creation of such a premium product.

It is also essential that such a plan be developed, detailed & approved by all parties involved before any aspect of production begins, ensuring that all factors operate in harmony & according to the ultimate aim of the exercise.

This one day workshop, specifically designed to assist producer associations develop an end product suitable for a modern market, addresses all aspects of production from tree maintenance to bottling standards, putting them into a regional & practical perspective.

Presented on Powerpoint & with lecture notes provided to participants, it encourages open discussion & interaction designed to build a strategy tailored to local needs in three stages, each work shopped before proceeding to the following stage.

This presentation is best conducted in summer when grower commitments are reduced.
